Yamaha Releases MotoGP Themed YZF-R3

Motorcyclists that support the Monster Energy MotoGP Team, who employ the skillsets of Maverick Vinales & Valentino Rossi, can purchase a Yamaha YZF-R3 with an identical livery to their favourite drivers. This comes after a press release was issued by the Yamaha Company, confirming the “2021 Yamaha YZF-R3 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition Motorcycle”.

The announcement of this motorcycle comes after Yamaha released a 2020 version last year. It was a limited-edition vehicle that maintained identical graphics & bodywork to the Monster Energy MotoGP Teams, Yamaha R3. There are minor alterations in the design to ensure direct copies aren’t held against their MotoGP counterparts. However, the “2021 Yamaha YZR-R3” in the Monster Energy MotoGP Edition is the closest way to sport liveries similar to Valentino Rossi & Maverick Vinales.

Yamaha’s release noted that all 2020 editions were sold-out during the pre-order cycle, with similar expectations slated to follow with the 2021 Edition. Consumers that purchased the 1st-Year Editions of the Yamaha YZF-R3 MEME emphasized that visual differences between 2020 & 2021 are minimal. However, the livery that Monster Energy MotoGP Team used didn’t change over the recent campaign. It shouldn’t be surprising for potential new customers.

Cost margins associated with the 2021 Yamaha YZF-R3 MEME hasn’t altered since the 2020 Edition. Those wanting to purchase this motorcycle will payout $5,599.00 for their respective model. What is awarded to consumers is a vehicle weighing 375Lbs & maintaining a 321cc Inline Twin Engine. This combination allowed for fast speeds in the corners, and straight lines. It should be noted that fuel capacity is listed at 3.7 Gallons, at 56 Miles per Gallon. This means an average tank will sustain 333km or 207 Miles per Hour.

Purchase Methods

Those considering purchasing this vehicle cannot pre-order the “2021 Yamaha YZF-R3 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition Motorcycle”. The Yamaha Company is taking the standard approach during the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning local dealers will have an influx of stock by September 30th. Yamaha hasn’t provided an official release date for their vehicle, allowing for potential postponements. It’s recommended to call your local dealer & request a call-back when they’ve received stock of the Yamaha YZF-R3 MEME.
